A note sent from this site lands in one mailbox in Cincinnati and waits there for a person to read it. No room is held by sending it, and no money changes hands at this stage.
Nothing is held here until the office has written back and you have said yes to what it wrote. No part of a stay is ever paid for through these pages.
What the queue means right now
A note sits in that mailbox until someone opens it and writes back. Nothing about it runs by itself. No room is set aside, no night is taken off a supplier's chart, and no company has been told a name.
A reservation comes later and it comes in writing. The office answers with every figure spelled out, and a room is held only once that answer has been read and agreed to in return.
So the note can be changed. A second note that corrects the dates, the number of nights or the number of people replaces the first one, and nothing has to be undone.
How long a written answer takes
A note about a stay for the first time is answered within one working day. A note about a stay that is already reserved is answered the day it lands, because the details are already on file here.
A change of dates runs slower. The office has to ask the far end and wait for its answer before it can say anything worth acting on, and that waiting is not in this office's hands.
Those are reply times, not clock hours. This office publishes no clock hours at all, and the figures above are what a written answer should take.
Figures the reply will carry
The answer prints the driving time measured along the road from Fountain Square, the distance measured the same way, the number of nights, and the hours of driving that one night of the stay has to carry.
It also prints the price for one person, what that price covers and what it leaves out. The company behind each part is named in that written answer rather than on these pages.
If the driving works out heavy for the nights on hand, the answer says so plainly before anything is held. It is better to hear that at a table than to learn it at the wheel.
When a second note helps
Mail goes astray, filters catch things, and addresses get mistyped. If nothing has come back after the times above, sending the note again costs nothing and is the fastest fix.
The office can also be reached by phone at the number printed at the foot of every page, and by post at the street address beside it. Both reach the same room and the same mailbox.
Nothing else is required while the note waits. This office keeps no accounts and hands out no passwords, so the list can be read again at any time without signing in to anything.
